Contest Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday the 7th

You are invited to come and join us in the Contest Awards Ceremony Transitio_mx 03 / Autonomies of Disagreement, which will take place in the Blas Galindo Auditorium at the CENART.

Awards will be granted for the following categories:

International categories

#1Residual topography

10 works were selected: installation, interactive, immersive or sound environments, objects, robotics, hardware hacking, circuit bending, physical computing, space intervention and similar projects. A single prize will be awarded worth $50,000 (Fifty thousand Mexican pesos). The Jury will decide the honorable mentions granted.

#2Unusual displacements: the scope of the moving images

12 works were selected: mono channel video, 16 millimeters, live cinema, Vj´s, videogames, videomobile, interactive animation, augmented reality and similar projects. A single prize will be awarded worth $50,000 (Fifty thousand Mexican pesos). The Jury will decide the honorable mentions granted.

#3Dissident territories: the emergence of technology

Declared void.

#4Concealed order: viral construction of web contents

2 works selected: Internet, bluetooth, GPS, radiofrequency, cellular telephony, infrarred y similar projects. A single prize will be awarded worth $35,000 (Thirty five thousand Mexican pesos). The Jury will decide the honorable mentions granted.

National category

#5Prize for creative young adults: potential talents

12 works were selected. A single prize will be awarded worth $20,000 (Twenty thousand Mexican pesos). The Jury will decide the honorable mentions granted.
