Andreas Broeckmann

Art historian and curator, he has been artistic director of TESLA – Laboratory for Arts and Media. He is also co-chairing the Berlin conference re:place 2007 on the histories of art, media, science and technology. He was the Artistic Director of Transmediale – Festival for art and digital culture in Berlin, he worked as a project manager at V2_Organisation, Institute for the Unstable Media in Rotterdam. Indepently, he has curated exhibitions such as MaMa in Zagreb; (‘Runtime Art’, 2004), at TENT/Witte de With in Rotterdam; (‘Tracer / Neuralgic’, 2004), and at Skuc Gallery in Ljubljana (‘KRcF – Room for Manoeuvre’, 2006). He is a member of the advisory board for Visual Arts of the Goethe Institut, and of the Council for the Arts, Berlin.
