He is an independent artist and curator who produce works of both a playful and experimental character that are connected to technology. Experimentation in sound has been one of his major concerns not only in production but in promotion as well. He has been the curator of the Cyberlounge in the Tamayo Museum and has organized more than twenty acts of interactive authorship as well as the Sunday program of sound intervention-Immersion/Sound Forum from 2004-2006. Since 2000 he has been organizing different visual-sound events in inte [r] perie, from the terrace of his studio-home, inaugurated as an independent space for experimentation and art in 2006 with the event ¼ www.un-cuarto.org. He was a member of the curatorial board of Transitio MX 05 as well as an advisor to Dorkbot, Mexico City. He was co-curator with Ivan Abreu for the inaugural event at the Center for Design, Film and Television (Centro de Diseño Cine y Televisión). He has collaborated on the curatorial program for events in the Fonoteca Nacional. Awarded the grant by FONCA for Young Artists (Jovenes Creadores) in 2000, Rockefeller MacArthur 2002, first place in the category of Multimedia in the Festival Vidarte in 1999, first place in the Festival Inferences in France 2000, third place in the category of net-art in Machita City Museum in Tokyo. Member of the National Artists System –Sistema Nacional de Creadores 05-08. He is currently a tutor for the Young Artists Program 08,09 (Jovenes Creadores) and has a grant from VIDA11 Fundacion Telefonica 2009 http://www.arc-data.net
