Gunalan Nadarajan
Singapur, 1965 Theoretician and curator, he is Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies as well as Art Professor at the College of Art and Architecture of the of Penn State University. He has published Ambulations (2000) Construction Site (2004) and Contemporary Art in Singapore (co-author; 2006). He has curated international exhibits such as Ambulations (Singapur), 180KG (Yakarta), Negotiating Spaces (Auckland), media_city 2002 (Seoul) and Container Culture (San José). He was Associate Curator for Documenta XI (Kassel, Germany) and Juror at various international exhibits such as ISEA2004 (Helsinki/Talinn), Transmediale 05 (Berlin) and ISEA2006 (San José). He was Artistic Co-Director of the Ogaki Biennale 2006 and Artistic Director of the International Symposium on Electronic Art, ISEA2008 (Singapur).
