Nova Jiang
She creates interactive public artworks. Her work transforms audience members into collaborative performers and builds playful visual dialogues that sustain communities of participants. She seeks to open up the possibilities of expression and communication amongst her audience by facilitating play. She draws from everyday experiences and the memories of childhood, using the body as a familiar and constant reference point. Nova has exhibited internationally at venues such as Sundance Film Festival, Park City; Sonar, Barcelona; Glow Festival, Los Angeles; Japan Media Art Festival, Tokyo; and others.
