Vicky Funari
Documentary filmmaker and editor, she produced, directed (with Sergio De La Torre) and edited Maquilapolis, a piercing look at globalization through the eyes of Mexican factory workers. The film premiered at the 2006 International Film Festival Rotterdam and screened at the Tribeca Film Festival; it won numerous awards, including the Audience Award at the Women’s International Film Festival of Barcelona. It was also broadcasted on the PBS series POV. Funari produced, directed and edited the acclaimed non-fiction feature film Paulina
