Concert: Electroacustic Music for Sax and Piano

The program presented during the Festival explores the different possibilities of the relationship between acoustic and electroacoustic sound, through works that are acousmatic, like Boading (Berezan), to works that have live interactive processes, Relief IV (Morales-Ossio). Each work explores the different relationships between the instruments, that on occasion blend perfectly with the electroacoustic parts and are the result of a mathematical process, as in nkscapes (Miljkovic); on occasion the acoustic sound is the source for the electronic processes as in Relief IV and on other occasions there is a search for complete interaction in order to create a meta instrument-the sum of both parts (acoustic and electroacoustic), that is the case of La celebración del mañana (Cortés).
